Extra – Support for Families
Meet the Team
FollowOur team on their mission.

I’m the Operations Manager at EXTRA and have been with the charity since 2020, quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) keeping things running behind the scenes. I love the variety of the role and being part of a team that genuinely makes a difference.
When I’m not at work, I’m a mum to three boys — 15-year-old twins and a 10-year-old — which means life is busy, noisy, and fuelled almost entirely by coffee and snacks. You’ll usually find me on the sidelines as a proud football mum, dreaming of a lie-in and my next coffee fix.
In my rare moments of downtime, I love heading to music gigs and the theatre, spending time with my family and friends, and going on long walks with my two border terriers, Ronnie and Bella — who believe every walk should be longer than planned and slightly muddy.

I’m the Parent Services Manager for Extra. I first discovered Extra in 2012 while attending the SWAN course as a parent. As a mum of three children, all with additional needs, that experience was truly life-changing for me.
I went on to become a qualified facilitator and furthered my studies in counselling and pre-school practice. I was an associate facilitator with Extra for many years before also joining the office team in 2021. I feel incredibly passionate about being part of Extra and the vital support it offers to parents and carers across our community.
Outside of work, I love soaking up the atmosphere at festivals, enjoying live music, and heading out for walks in the woods. If you see someone hugging a tree, that will probably be me!

I’m a mum of three—two teenagers (send help) and one wonderfully sassy 11-year-old who could probably run the house if I let her. I joined EXTRA in April 2022, bringing my background in admin and office management… basically, I’m very good at keeping things organised even when life is chaos around me!
I’m genuinely passionate about what EXTRA offers to parents and carers in our community—it feels amazing to be part of something that makes real everyday life a little easier.
When I’m not at EXTRA, I’m usually at home trying to keep up with the kids, catching a live band, getting lost in a good film or series, or wandering the countryside with my dog Rodney, who absolutely believes he’s the main character.
