Kirsty Stannard – Programme Administrator Hi, I’m Kirsty, I’m a mum to 3 boys, including twins. I have worked at EXTRA since October 2020, and come from a retail management background. I am also a qualified childminder. I’m a bit of a culture vulture, love the great outdoors and meeting new people.
Karen Hayward – Programme Facilitator
Hello, I’m Karen. I first discovered Extra in 2012 when I was a parent attending the SWAN course, as I have three children who all have additional needs. I have studied counselling and pre-school practices and have been a facilitator with Extra for 8 years before also joining the office team in 2021. I feel passionate about being part of what Extra offers to parents and carers in our community. In my spare time I love going to festivals, listening to live music, and going for a family walk in the woods.
Becky Mason – Clerical Assistant
Hi, I’m Becky. I’m a mum to 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. I have worked at EXTRA since April 2022 and I have an clerical/office management based background. When I’m not at EXTRA, I enjoy cooking with the kids, watching a live band, watching a good film or taking my dog Rodney on a long walk.

Kay Caines – Bookkeeper
Hi, I’m Kay and I started at Extra in March 2022. I am a fully licensed accountant and have been in the industry for over 25 years. I work with various companies from all shapes and sizes and all industries, so every day is different.
I am a mum to 3 children and have many loves, these included spending time with my family, my dopey dogs and Scotland. I am also a huge collector of shoes, so much so my husband thinks he married a centipede!
Erin Goddard – Interim Manager Hi, I’m Erin. I joined EXTRA in November 2021, although I have been working with children and families in Essex for over 20 years. I am a mum to 3 children and have particular experience of supporting families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the countryside.
